Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Syntexa SA handles personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / revDSG) and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

• Contact-form data you provide: company, country, industry, contact name, email, phone and your message.
• Technical/server data processed automatically: IP address, browser/device information, pages requested and timestamps, in server and CDN logs.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data through this website.

3. Why we process it, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry and manage the resulting relationship (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f); nFADP: proportionate processing for a stated purpose).
• To operate and secure the website (legitimate interest).
• To comply with legal obligations, including export-control and accounting duties.

4. Sharing and processors

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract (e.g. web/CDN hosting, email delivery) and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where processors are located outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the Swiss addendum).

6. Retention

We keep enquiry data as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, then only as required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. Contact info@syntexa.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss FDPIC or your local EU/EEA supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

This website uses only what is necessary to serve pages and load fonts; it does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If non-essential cookies are added, we will request consent and update this notice.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including TLS encryption in transit and access controls — to protect personal data.
